Pastel allows you to easily collect client feedback on websites you're building. But to make the most of that feedback, you need to be able to easily act on it. Exporting Pastel comments to a ClickUp project is one of the best ways to stay on top of feedback and make your clients happy.

Connecting ClickUp to Pastel

  1. Connecting your ClickUp account to Pastel is simple. Head over to any canvas. If you don't have a canvas set up yet, you can get set up in under a minute over at https://usepastel.com/dashboard.

  2. Click on the circle avatar icon located on the far right side of the canvas footer. A menu will pop up. Select the "export feedback" button.

  3. Then select ClickUp from the available options and follow the prompts to connect your ClickUp account to Pastel.

  4. Once you've connected your account, you can begin exporting. You can select all comments, filter by status, or just select the comments you'd like to export one by one. Alternatively, you can also setup auto exporting to have all new comments in a canvas automatically exported to a ClickUp list.

  5. Alternatively, you can also setup auto exporting to have all new comments in a canvas automatically exported to a ClickUp list. To set that up, just click on "Turn on auto export" at the top of the modal above and follow the prompts to set up auto exporting for all new comments. You can choose whether comments get exported as individual tasks or subtasks, as well as whether to sync the Resolved status from Pastel. The last option allows you to update the status in the corresponding ClickUp task whenever a comment is set to "Resolved" in Pastel.

  6. When comments are exported in ClickUp, you get all the metadata you need to act on the feedback, as well as a screenshot and a link to the original comment.

That's it! You're all set to start knocking off tasks in ClickUp.
