Pastel allows you to collect client feedback on websites you're building easily. But to make the most of that feedback, you need to be able to efficiently act on it. Exporting Pastel comments to a CSV file is one of the best ways to stay on top of feedback and make your clients happy.
Exporting Pastel comments to a CSV file
Exporting Pastel comments to a CSV file is simple. Just head over to any canvas. If you don't have a canvas set up yet, you can get set up in under a minute over at https://usepastel.com/dashboard.
Click on the circle avatar icon located on the far right side of the canvas footer. A menu will pop up. Select the 'export feedback' button.
Then select 'Export to CSV' from the available options.
You can now select all comments, filter by status, sort by the commenter and last exported date, or just select the comments you'd like to export one by one.
Once you select the comments you’d like to export, you’ll be able to download the generated CSV file. In the export, you get all the metadata you need to act on the feedback, as well as a screenshot, a link to the original comment, comment labels and replies.
That's it! You can now use the CSV file to keep a record of comments or import comments into another tool.
