Creating a New Version

On Website Canvases

All Pastel plans, including the Free plan, allow you to create unlimited versions of a canvas.

To create a new version:

  1. Open your canvas. Click the "+ New version" button in the footer.

  2. A pop-up will appear, confirming the new version. You can name it now or edit the name later.

  3. Once created, your new version will be ready for fresh feedback.

On Image and PDF Canvases

When creating a new version of an image or PDF canvas:

  1. Upload the new files to the new canvas version.

  2. A fresh canvas will be created where reviewers can provide new feedback.

Note: You can access older versions of your canvas by clicking on the Versions dropdown menu. When viewing a previous version, you will see a notification indicating that you are reviewing an older version. Commenting is now disabled on older versions, but you can still reply to any existing comment.

Editing or Deleting Versions:

To rename or delete a Version:

  1. Hover over the version you want to modify.

  2. Click the pencil icon that appears on the right.

  3. To rename, enter the new name and click "Save name."

  4. To delete, click "Delete" and confirm the action.
