With Pastel, getting good feedback is now the easy part. But someone still has to sort through all the comments to make sure they're acted on and don't fall through the crack. That's where comment statuses come in!

Statuses for comments

To help make implementing feedback a much smoother process, Pastel comments can be assigned a comment status. Categorize feedback to let your team and clients know what stage of the process a comment is in with either:

  • Active = new comments

  • In progress = comments that are actively being worked on (by a dev or someone)

  • In review = comments that have been worked on and now need to be resolved by someone (e.g. a client or PM)

  • Resolved = comments that are now complete and addressed Active, In Progress, In Review, or Resolved status to let your team and clients know what stage of the process a comment is in.

Whenever you change the status of a comment, the person who left the comment will get a notification to let them know their feedback is being addressed.

Use comment statuses alongside assigning comments and our advanced search and filter options to help make it that much easier to breeze through feedback.
