We've added a couple shortcuts for one of the most common actions in Pastel: creating a canvas!

First, you can use our bookmarklet to quickly create a canvas for any website you're on: https://usepastel.com/on-any-website.

With this, you'll be able to add a bookmark in your bookmarks bar that allows you to create a canvas from the site you're currently on with just one click.

To get started, just follow the link above and drag the blue button up to your bookmarks bar to create a bookmarklet. Then, whenever you want to create a canvas for a website you’re viewing, click the bookmarklet and we’ll instantly create a canvas for you.

If you don’t see your bookmarks bar, click here to learn how to turn on yours.

Shortcuts

We also have another shortcut you can use to create a canvas without having to go to your dashboard! Simply add usepastel.com/on/ in front of any URL in your browser (usepastel.com/on/https://en.wikipedia.org/ for example).

You'll then be redirected to a newly created canvas for the URL after /on/. Each canvas will always have its own unique link generated in the format usepastel.com/link/something. You can then share that link with your team and clients for feedback.

Try it in any browser with usepastel.com/on/{yourURLgoeshere}.

And if you're anything like us and probably love keyboard shortcuts, check out more shortcuts here.
