Finding the canvas or comment you're looking for in Pastel is easy. Our dashboard and canvases both feature a simple search bar you can use to find anything.
In a Canvas
In a canvas, you can use the search bar to find comments by entering a commenter's name or keywords from the comment text.
Sorting Comments
Sort comments by newest first, oldest first or by page to quickly locate feedback.
Filtering Comments
You can filter comments by status. Click on the Status button to select which statuses you’d like to view in the sidebar - you can select multiple statuses at the same time.
You can access additional filters by clicking on the Filter button. You are able to filter based on things like who left the comment, the time comments were left, labels, who the comment is assigned to, and more.
When a canvas has many comments across multiple pages, you can use the 'All comments on current page only' toggle to display only the comments on the page or file you are currently viewing.
Whenever there are new unread comments on a canvas, you can also filter on unread comments only by clicking “See new activity” at the top of the sidebar.
Searching in the Dashboard
In the dashboard, you can sort canvases by Most recent or By name. You can also filter canvases by type (website, images, etc.) and by creation date.
Searching canvases is also easy. You can search by canvas name, website URL, or canvas creator. By default, search works on the project folder you’re currently viewing. If you’d like to search account wide, you can select the “Search/filter all canvases” toggle on the right of the search bar when searching from the dashboard.
