Pastel allows you to easily collect client feedback on websites you're building. But to make the most of that feedback, you need to be able to easily act on it. Exporting Pastel comments to a Jira project is one of the best ways to stay on top of feedback and make your clients happy.
Connecting Jira to Pastel
Connecting your Jira account to Pastel is simple. Just head over to any canvas. If you don't have a canvas set up yet, you can get set up in under a minute over at https://usepastel.com/dashboard.
Click on the circle avatar icon located on the far right side of the canvas footer. A menu will pop up. Select the "export feedback" button.
Then select Jira from the available options and follow the prompts to connect your Jira account to Pastel.
Once you've connected your account, you can begin exporting. You can select all comments, filter by active or resolved, or just select the comments you'd like to export one by one.
In Jira, you get all the metadata you need to act on the feedback, as well as a screenshot and a link to the original comment.
That's it! You're all set to start knocking off tasks in Jira.
