When getting a project past the finish line, putting the finishing touches on and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks can often be one of the most time consuming parts. That's why, when you create a website canvas, Pastel automatically scans the page for common issues.
Currently, we automatically detect broken or missing links. When an issue is detected, you'll get an email notifying you and you'll be able to view all issues in the comment sidebar.
Once you click on the button to view all issues, you'll see a modal to review them one by one. You can see a screenshot of where the issue is, what it is, and decide whether you'd like to turn it into a comment.
If the issue is a broken or missing link, you have the option view the current link and enter a correct URL if needed before turning it into a comment.
When the canvas is created, only the initial page it's created for is scanned. As comments are left, each new page commented on is also automatically scanned.
Broken and missing links are just the start, and we'll be expanding the kind of issues we detect over time. Are there any specific issues you'd like to see detected in the future, just click on the chat button in the bottom right to let our team know.
